    Hello

I got two new rear tyres fitted on my car on Friday,

the car hasn’t been driving the same since you can definitely fell a shake/vibration with crossing 100 kph

the car is a front wheel drive so I presume the rear wheels don’t be balanced? Could that be my issue ?

Check the wheel nuts are all tight for a start.

If it was a reputable garage they should have balanced the tires.

Perhaps you need the cars tracking checked.

Were the old tyres worn on one side?

What brand are the new tyres versus the old ones that came off? Some of the cheap unknown brands have been known to be terrible including feedback through the car like what you describe.

Kumho PS71 tyres were fitted on Friday (255/35R20)

the tyres definitely weren’t balanced as I waited and talked to lads that changed the tyres

Im guessing it was a typical cowboy - tyres going on the back so not bothered balancing.

They should be taken out and shot.

Bring it back and get them to balance at no cost.

    Thanks

I’ll bring it back and hopefully getting the rear wheels balanced sorts the car.

Mustn’t have balanced the wheels right.

Probably not balanced correctly ! Also when I get new boots I always get a four wheel alignment ! Also make sure the "outside" on tyre is outside , surprising how many installers don't adhere to that !

    Just to update this.

I brought my car back to the garage and they balanced the rear wheels - the car is driving ok now.

Must have been a new lads first day on the job 🤷‍♂️

Nah. A new lad would be trying to impress. At it a few years and can’t be bothered, I’d guess.
