Any thoughts on how I might move this out of the way inside the house while awaiting collection?

I moved a similar stove a few years ago. It was a bastard of job. Heavy, awkward and ready to crush your foot at the first opportunity.

We used a heavy-duty dolly I got a loan of. Getting it on that and out of the house was actually the easier part. Getting it onto the buyer's trailer was the hard part. We made a ramp from short scaffolding boards and got it up eventually.

All the doors come off and the top hinged covers. The plate warmer is only held on by a four bolts. Thats at least some small reduction in weight. Most Stanley ranges have a few other bits that come off including some large chunks of the oil burner.

Wake me up when it's all over.
