That list is daft, Casey & Coombes will only be 28 & 29 for the next RWC, Crowley will only be 27.

In fact all 3 of them could play in two more RWCs

They've also got Sexton in the starting team and Healy on the bench. I think it's supposed to be funny, or irritating - not sure which.

I stopped reading after the obvious mistakes in the opening paragraph, though, I did look at the posters name and questioned myself should I reply.

This thread tends to be created after each RWC exit. And it's always filled with teams that are fairly off the mark and reactionary so credit to Richie for sticking with the old guard!

I do think we'll see a large number of guys still in the 23 even with the age profile. From last weekend's 23, I'd say Sexton, Kilcoyne, POM, Murray and Aki are the only guys I'd definitely rule out.

Although I'd hope we see a few more gone by that stage or else it means we haven't really had a lot of talent coming through and we'd have Conan, Lowe, JGP, Henderson, Beirne and Bealham all at 35 and in the Irish squad.

Of those, I can see JGP still being around due to playing a specialist position where we don't have huge depth (and are about to lose Murray in the next 18 months). Bealham and one of the locks are the next most likely but I'd imagine all of them are looking at 2027 as their farewell tour.

Porter, Sheehan, Furlong, McCarthy, Ryan, Baird, Kendellan, Doris, Patterson, Prendergast, Baloucoune, Osborne, Ringrose, Hansen, Keenan

Loughman, Stewart, O'Toole, O'Tighearnaigh, Quinn, Casey, Crowley, O'Brien

If I have 15 of the 23 right I will be doing well.
