Final Demand for Tax

I'm so confused. Returned home after work today and my husband had recieved a final tax demand for 600. He's on disability!!! Has been for 5 years now! I recently started a new job and supplied my pps number etc, all fine. The dates say 1/8/2023 to 31/8/2023. I started my new job on 11/9/2023 No way was he working or could possibly owe any tax during those dates. Can anyone shed light on this?

Not to be flippant, **** it in the green bin ! That's an automated generic demand ! Don't waste you're time trying to engage with revenue over the phone , their online service is really good and you'll get instant resolving of you're issue !

I wouldn’t worry about it. It’s likely a mistake as you’re working and married. Not sure if it’s automatically generated as above as I’ve never got one myself nor my Mrs.

Doubt you’ve anything to worry about considering the above circumstances re disability allowance etc

Is it definitely from Revenue? You say it's a final demand so where are the previous demands?

The Revenue would have no interest in tax owed from '1/8/2023 to 31/8/2023' until 2024
