The First of the 4 America's Grands Prix.

Ricciardo Returns.

Haas has some upgrades.

Here is hoping for Haas to score points and the two McClaren's to finish 1 - 2.

And a big smash into the first corner.

20th Oct - Practice 1 - 19.30

20th Oct - Qualifying - 22.00

21st Oct - Sprint Shootout - 18.30

21st Oct - Sprint - 23.00

22nd Oct - Race - 20.00

Apart from the timing of the spring, this weekend is perfect times. Evening races are the best.

I really hope Danny Ric can show some skills when he's back.

20th Oct - Practice 1 - ~~19.30~~ (corrected, now at 18:30)

20th Oct - Qualifying - 22.00 (Friday) conveniently on after the Rugby semi-final.

21st Oct - Sprint Shootout - 18.30 (Saturday teatime)

21st Oct - Sprint - 23.00 (Saturday)

22nd Oct - Race - 20.00 (Sunday)

Is that FP1 time correct? I'm seeing 18.30 tonight not 19.30.

You are correct. there was a change to the timings I used from SKY it looks like, or I could have mixed up the Mexico times.

I go with the sky f1 timing page which is handy. Just wish they'd move the current race to top of page instead of keeping the order of the whole season...

Brundle reporting from trackside is great. The bits he picks up on and feeds back like the pitch of the engine and the movements through a corner are great.

F*ck me, Hamilton wasn't long changing his mind about safety for drivers. He has no issue with the conditions for Qatar, comparing it to marathon runners passing out after a race!

Remember him complaining how the porpoising was too dangerous last season, hypocrite as always.

Really like the shake up in the top 10. Max getting pole but then got it taken away still shows he has the speed on the track and I fully expect him to be at the top again on Sunday. Sprint race could be equally interesting later. I quite liked the late action tonight, not clashing with any other sport is a welcome change,
