MyGovID login issue with phone number change

I cannot find any help at the Gov.ie site on how I can change my phone number used to verify login IF I cannot login to change to new phone number. Old phone is no longer in service. Out of country now so unsure how to handle.

There is no help posted about this as your not supposed to change your number.
You'll now have to call the tech support team, who'll send you our a new pin, you'll be essentially required to re register from scratch
