Sligo hits headline for the wrong reason...

Crash was at summerhill roundabout last fri night/sat morning... Van was still there yesterday.... Not surprising this barrier has been hit yet again with the amount of drivers speeding (above 100k) going northbound approaching that roundabout I did notice the garda jeep doing speed checks from under the caltragh flyover…

I did notice the garda jeep doing speed checks from under the caltragh flyover more regularly now, has to be a good thing if they can catch more of the constant speeders.

Maybe they need more prominent signage that a roundabout is coming up, it's not very visible from a distance.

The article says is happened on Saturday night but I was nearly sure I drove past the van here on Saturday afternoon, not that it makes much difference.
