All they talk is gibberish and rubbish. I was having a listen to that Clown Ray Foley on Today FM. My god he talks such rubbish. Honestly you would go stupid listening to him. Radio existed long before it became the norm to play music. Where do you get such notions?

There's a plethora of stations out there and nobody is forcing you to listen to any of them let alone any in particular. There's a huge choice, so tune in somewhere that doesn't rile you.

Louise Duffy has a voice I could listen to all day.

Lucy Kennedy and that gobdaw that does be on with her are the total opposite but I like the old school music they have on that station so its a bit of a trade off putting up with D4 accents.

I know it's an extra charge on top of the ever increasing costs of petrol, insurance, NCT (not including the stuff you have to get fixed between checks on your 2021 car), and tax that you pay for your car, but you won't have to listen to someone talking for a couple of minutes between songs.

I do have another idea, but this only works if you're being forced to listen to it in work.

Tell your boss that the DJ is a coke head, and you don't want to listen to him/her because of that. Cite Gerry Ryan as a reference.

Radio presenters are absolute crap.

Imo all they love is the sound of their own voices.

I only hear radio now.under duress..i.e. in part of workplace or in some shops.

I've Spotify so plenty of choice and no blah blah.

Guarantee in years to come there'll be no call for.radio as it's now. Young people don't want to hear the pointless $hite the stations currently peddle.

I generally avoid anything on radio that isn't of a current affairs persuasion. The 'phone-in for a whinge' shows or the music request shows that are common on weekends are just the worst things ever broadcast.

Was on the road Sunday and it's staggering to me that in today's day and age with all the social media bragging going on, people are STILL calling into national radio stations to tell the presenter they are travelling between Muff and Nobber with all the family after a wild weekend hiking or canoeing.
