House ownership transfer - planning permission

    Hello. My parents want to 'sign over' the family house to my wife and I.

    We know there were some extensions put on the house over the years without planning permission, and as I understand it do not fall under permitted development.

    Has anyone been in this situation before?

    Any advice or any idea on timescales to get it sorted?
