    Hi

I was bringing home older breeding ewes yesterday and noticed a lot of these on the road.

The were wormed a month ago. It looks strange. Is this normal

I wouldn't worry about it if they look healthy.

healthy adult ewes have good immunity from the affects of worms and so don't need dosing

    Tapeworm ?

Shouldn't be an issue in ewes nor in lambs really. That's my vets opinion anyways.

Metzo something or other they are called in FEC results.Usually show up here but advice is not to worry about them.Think it's white drench only that's effective against tapeworms but not certain.

Like Wrangler said worm dosing adult sheep is normally a waste of time and can be counter productive in many cases.
