42" TV for Sky Go Use

Hi there,

I stay away in a flat for work two nights a week. Im a Sky subscriber, so I have access to Sky Go, so I was thinking of buying an Apple TV and adding the Sky Go app to it, to use on a basic TV for the nights Im away.

Im not needing HDR or anything fancy, I have both LG and Sony Oleds at home, but I want a budget model for this use case due to the lack of use it will be getting.

Any recommendations for me please?

Didn’t know Sky Go was available as an app on Apple, genuinely thought Now TV was the only app from them on boxes etc

What size of TV were you looking for and I can get back to you with a few recommendations!

I think the Philips TVs are probably the best value for money at the minute for both picture and features but if you let me know what size I'll see what I have for you.

Sorry! You would think the 42" in the title would be a clue! One of those days!

I have a Philips 43pus8108 at the moment at £429/499 euro - it's a great panel with a good smart hub:

I also have a Sharp on offer at the moment at £299/369 euro which has an Android operating system. It wouldn't be quite as good for picture as the Philips but is still a great TV:
