Was scanning through the Irish papers online this morning on PressReader.com. I looked at The Irish Daily Star first, and then went to look at The Irish Mirror, and had to double check many times that I wasn't rereading the same paper as earlier. Was scanning through the Irish papers online this morning on PressReader.com. I looked at The Irish Daily Star first, and then went to look at The Irish Mirror, and had to double check many times that I wasn't rereading the same paper as earlier. Putting them side by side, the exact same articles, pictures from the same journalist/author. Is this a recent thing?
Star on the left, Mirror on the right. Somehow it's an Exclusive for The Mirror.

both owned by the same company. you'd have to ask why would they pay two different journalists to write two different articles which are likely to be near identical?
