PTO cement mixer

Hi folks,

I've decided to buy a cement mixer for the back of the tractor. I've alot of bits of concreting to do around the yard and home over the next few years so will be well handy to have it.

Anyone have experience this these Cosmo ones? They seem keenly priced.

I'd go with the larger Teagle mixer.

Can usually be picked up on Donedeal for under 500

Thanks. I think you are probably right. They're an old machine but seem to have stood the test of time. If I can find a clean one near me I would. None anywhere near Cork atm and don't want to buy a s/h without seeing it. Will give it a few weeks anyway. Cheers

How much would a pan mixer set you back, what volumes do they mix?

Teagle and portable electric one here. Teagle best £50 spend in halves with my brother years ago. Checking the other day, it's on the to-do list for a pto guard.

+1 for a pan mixer. Picked up a good 2nd hand one this spring. Has some wedge of work done since then.

Seen some folks get over the weight issue by placing it on a bogey.

they can come in volume of 800litrs up to 1.5m i think

In 2012 i bought a 800 version and did a right bit of work with it

Running a 1.2M3 and 1.5m3 on chassis now

Have 1 one of these. Okay for small work. Only issue was the stress on the universal joint at the mixer end when the top link was fully extended - it didn't like rotating at that angle.
