Getting beer from uk

    I recently purchased some SA beer and crisps from a South African shop in London.

    45 x 500ml cans

    10 packets of crisps

    Total value 138 gbp packed in 2 boxes. These were sent to an post address pal in London where they are stuck as An post will not deliver alcohol to ireland. All other mainstream couriers also declined to ship the packages.

    My only option at present is booking a ferry and driving to London but this is working out at amost 550 euro between ferry and petrol.

    Any suggestions please
