Recommendations for Intruder alarm upgrade.

    Hello all! So I'm looking for recommendations a replacement for an ageing HKC intruder alarm system I installed in my house 17 years ago. Would like to bring it up to date with some wireless sensor in addition to the current wired PIRs I already have in place. I would like the ability to set/unset and monitor the alarm from a smartphone app. I see HKC charge €10 a month for this?? I understand they have a HKC GSM Sim in the panel that provides this function and justifies the charge... But I'm wondering if there is an option that will run off wifi and avoid the monthly charge? Any other good system on the market other than HKC that have a app that will not cost €10 a month and will function over wifi? Thanks.
