Do you know how many watts/Kw the heater is, after that just work out kw per hour by the standard unit of electricity which I think is 43.27c/hour.

Yep, the heater is 2.2kW but in reality it will not be drawing down electricity all the time given that milk is heated on demand. I suppose what I am really asking is for real world usage where the heater is being used to feed X number of calves, if that makes sense?
