In recent months, when listening to recordings from ABC 80s' "Radio Memories", I started to become aware of how ubiquitous Englishman Peter Madison was in the pirate scene, especially in Ireland and mainly in the 1980s in the case of Ireland. He is a name I have been aware of for a number of years, but I think it is only in the last year I actually heard his voice through recordings! These are the pirates I am aware of:

(A) Offshore pirates : Radio City and Radio Caroline.

(B) Ireland:

Dublin: Big D, Sunshine Radio, Radio Nova, Capitol Radio (1982 version), Radio Annabel, Magic 103, LLCR (Liberties Local Community Radio) and Southside 95 FM.

Cork: South Coast Radio and WKLR (West Cork Local Radio).

Drogheda, Co Louth: Boyneside Radio

Does anyone know of any other pirates, in Ireland or elsewhere, that the late Peter Madison was involved with?

He was on the shortwave pirate Laser Hot Hits in the mid 00s. It was/is a UK based operation but with a transmitter in Donegal broadcasting on 6220khz

I found another Dublin pirate that Peter Madison passed through in the 1980s: KELO. He used the name Skip Cameron during his time at the station!

What name did Peter use on Radio Caroline offshore? According to the Pirate Radio Hall of Fame he was Mac Peters on Radio City https://www.offshoreradio.co.uk/djsn2p.htm but theres no mention of any time on Caroline.

I don't think Peter worked on Radio Caroline, after Radio City 'Mac Peters' , Peter's real name Peter MacDougall, changed his on air name to Peter Madison, and worked on land based pirates and legals incl Florida

I double-checked what was said about "Mac Peters" in a website about offshore pirates and it looks like he was not with Radio Caroline, and that his three weeks on Radio City was his only offshore pirate experience. I stand corrected.
