Setting up an education fund for newborn

    We're a couple of months in being parents. I figure education will cost a lot more in 17 years time, what is the best and most tax efficient way to provide for this?

    Maybe consider paying off your mortgage earlier so the wages you take home are yours to keep.

    Another thing might be to consider eventually moving near a college or on a transport line, so kids don't have to rent.

    I'll probably get given out to here for saying this but some parents take cal break from working before applying for susi grant so their reckonable income is less!
