I was admiring it last night about 2am. It was big and very clear, but what was fascinating was the illusion that the clouds were behind the moon. They were moving fairly fast and there was a big reflected ring on the clouds, around the moon. The clouds looked fairly thick but they must have been very thin as it was not possible to see any dimming of the moon as they passed in front. The impression that the moon was skimming fast across the sky in front of the clouds was very difficult to 'un-see'.
