Cavity wall beads leaking.

I started to remove a garage door to prepare for having it replaced.

I took back the render in a small patch by the frame to see how it was fixed. When I opened the gap to the cavity, some of the blown beads started to flow out.

I guess they weren't mixed right with glue but how do I get over this? I don't want to remove the frame and have them all flow out.

My thought is to drill every couple of inches around the frame and fill with expanding foam. Any better ideas, or anything I need to be aware of?
