I have a fencing job to do in an awkward place. Local merchant has 6ft round incised NSAI approved "brown" 🤷‍♂️ posts with a 15 year guarantee. €7 a post. Anyone have experience of them, with that fantastic description....

During the oireachtas hearings on creosote going, the merchants were saying that the only preservative on a par with creosote was a copper preservative. But the cavaet was it was a while away in the future to come online. If you are lucky maybe that's already it.

The description sounds very like what my local supplier has now, but I'm not sure if they're the same brand or not. What I don't like is that they're made from Irish grown timber, which is a bad starting point, no matter what they're treated with.
