The Civic Hybrid is now on sale in Ireland and is coming in at around €48,500 with the Advance trim.

Compared to the Toyota Corolla, the Civic is quite a bit more expensive. I like the look of the new Civic (not test drove it yet) but it seems to be over priced.

When you can get a decent BEV for that money there's something broken

Does it make its own petrol as well as self charging? 😏

If your sold on a hybrid, look at the Camry, for very little extra. Pricing of the Civic makes absolutely no sense. I believe Honda's days are numbered in Ireland anyway.

Big discussion on it here: https://www.boards.ie/discussion/2058267543/honda-civic-e-hev#latest

Definitely overpriced for what it is. Even Honda know it.

    Cheers, forgot about that thread.

The car is overpriced by about €10k in my view. As @Comer1 mentioned, the Camry makes more sense. Will go and have a look at one.

Saw the new Honda Accord while in the US a couple of weeks ago. A fine car. Non-executive saloons are out of flavour big time
