Where to get a Porch canopy.

last Year or there abouts I installed a composite front door, the original door setup had a deep porch and then the door.

new door is now at the front of the porch and nearly flush with the front of the house.

I want to install a canopy over the door.

I don’t want the cheap plastic ones that you see around, can anybody recommend a place that does them and maybe installs them also?

im in the clare limerick area.

Ever find that canopy?

Been looking for one too when I came across your post.

No I didn’t, I gave up for a while and started looking again

I found this crowd, but haven’t got around to ringing them yet. I imagine they will be expensive tho.

i remember I rang one place and they only do for trade, didn’t sell one offs.

i think I have to find a carpenter to build one maybe.

The ones you linked are very nice but I'd imagine as you said they're quite expensive being formed cladding on a timber frame.

I might go for this from Amazon when I have a few bob to spare...around €415 delivered here.Plastic but good reviews and easy to install.

Yea I saw them on Amazon, I think I prefer something more substantial, they don’t look very robust, who knows tho.

if you do order post up your experience with it.

their is a housing development being built over the road here, I see a few of the houses with canopies on them. I might call over and see if anybody might be willing to sneak one out :-D
