Which way do you put your kitchen roll/toilet paper?

I prefer it the way of the red holder. Now that might merely because the toilet paper holder is to the left of my toilet... so if it was the way of the purple holder, then my right hand would have to reach further towards the wall (the pulling hand) than the left hand (holding hand).

Drives me mad when it's put in the other way.

I agree. It even appears this is on the patent for perforated toilet paper.

An extensive survey (Health Service Staff questionnaire) reported that the red holder (above) is the correct way. This lessens the trsansfer of germs by allowing the user to peel off leafs without too much handling of the holder. This survey was carried out in the time of Covid.

Personally, it's the way I myself like 😊

There's only one reason to go the purple route: if you have a cat that likes to attack the toilet roll, that prevents the whole roll from unspooling.

This makes complete sense. My ex wife did it the wrong’ way and she was a psychopath.
