Triton Shower - new longer hose possible? DIY?

This is a very very basic question I'm sure, but bear with me - I have zero knowledge or DIY skills, so don't want to do something stupid.

Can the hose of my Triton Novel SR shower be swapped for a longer one without causing any issues? It's currently 1.2m and I see Triton sell several longer ones up to 2m. It would make life a lot easier for washing my hair over the bath.

Is this a DIY job? It looks like a straightforward screw off screw on situation. Is that right?

Would this in any way affect warranty?

Any advice appreciated.

Very easy,

If it leaks after tighten it, and if no joy, check ya didnt drop the rubber ring that lives in the joint

It will be slower to react to changing the temperature, so be patient and please dont scald yourself

I have used longer hoses on my Triton T90 SR and older models with no issues.

It's almost as easy as opening and closing a bottle of lemonade. The only thing to watch out for is when fitting make sure you don't drop or lose the little black rubber washer that comes in the new one.

It's really important to source a genuine triton hose. They come in several different lengths & will all work perfectly fine with your shower. The vast majority of spurious hoses will have a smaller opening /hole through the hose. Smaller opening damages the shower over time

I'll give it a go so. And I'll be careful not to lose the rubber washer, and I'll watch the temperature.
