KN Circet fibre installation with cherry picker

Had an installer from KN Circet out today to connect fibre, but he wasn't able to do it because the pole beside our property has tree branches and trees around it, so his ladder wouldn't reach up. We didn't have a saw to cut the branches out of the way, and he said that they would be able to provide a cherry picker and come back and access the pole that way.

However, I've not received any SMS or email informing me of an updated installation time when they might be back. Does anyone have any experience of this and know how long it might take, thanks?

Fibre ordered through eir to upgrade an existing eir line btw.

This is normal enough, they'll schedule a crew to attend and agree an appointment with you.

They probably have X number of crews in each region to cover jobs like that so there's probably a slight delay in scheduling

It can easily take 3 weeks for a different team to arrive.
