    is this even possible?

There is a forum that I would like to block, so that I don't have access to it and won't see any posts from the forum when it pops up on the "latest posts" tab. On mobile, its fine as I have "following" set as my default page view. But on desktop, "latest posts" pops up by default when I click on the home page and on occasion posts from this particular forum appear which i do not wish to see.

It is for my own mental health reasons that I am enquiring on this, so if someone could help me or show me how to do it, it would be great.

    Thanks

There's no such functionality to do this.

Am I able to edit my homepage so that "latest posts" isn't an option or at least isn't the first/default option ?

On mobile set View to Following.

When I next use desktop to visit boards.ie, it defaults to showing followed forums only not latest posts.

Unfortunately that doesnt work for mine as I also have following set on my mobile. Oh well, thanks for the suggestion 👍️

Maybe ask the mod of the forum to ban you from it?

This used to be a workaround on the old site, if you were banned threads from that forum wouldn't show up in latest posts. Not sure if it works on the new site

I've asked this before. It's a pity they can't do it.

You find you get dragged into threads in forums you want to avoid accidently, if you're not paying attention. Maybe others are more careful.
