I have an iphone XR, on it's last legs. I can get a 128gb iPhone 14 plus from gomibo for around €950 or I can get a 256gb 13 Pro Max refurbished from Apple store for €1189. The 14 pro max is a little out of budget but I could stretch to it if it was worth it but it would be the 128gb. My head is melted looking at them!

I'd consider waiting till the USB-C versions come out in a month.

I wonder what the prices will be like, need a new phone urgently really.

i would recommend a reality check and realise that none of the phones listed differ in a noticeable way. While you head is “melted” now with this life changing decision no matter which one you buy a week later your life will be identical.

This is the Apple devices forum. No need to be so patronising. Or rude for that matter.

Literally the worst time of year to buy an iPhone. New version will be announced and on sale in five weeks. Prices of the current models will likely drop.

Wait if you can. If you cannot, personally, I can't see how the 13 Pro Max is €240 better than the 14 Plus.

I see that CEX have 'A' rated 13 Pro Max for around €1000 in a variety of colours for 256GB.

looked at 2 Apple Watches in cex grand parade Cork

Both classed as unmarked etc or similar

    I found scratches on both

    one was actually chipped.

yet went to Cex Blackpool Cork and found their rating spot on
