Looking for an insurer for my 4 year mac book pro - primarily theft/loss/acc damage - any suggestions - its working perfect, owned since new but with going on hols and college over the next few weeks would like some security

Try Blue Insurance. Although, as suggested insuring it under your existing home contents policy may be the best option.

If you do look for cover, review carefully how it will be valued if lost/stolen - a 4 year old Mac Book may have a low value in the eyes of the insurer. Also, in addition to that, what excess will they apply to a claim - you may find, despite paying a decent premium there isn't too much left.
