Just a quick one my folks

Have a car sitting idle for about 5 months battery is gone on it ,it's an2011 ford , would the battery be dead at this stage or could i get it jumped ?

Its not longer insured so is there anyone i could ring to come jump it for cheap, It take to much hassle moving around to jump it off my own car if you get me,

Just want to get it moving again so they can sell it ,

You’ll definitely be able to jump start it, but if the battery wasn’t the best before it went flat then it could be a case that it won’t fully charge again. Should be fine tho.

You can get a batter charger for about €30 in a motor factors or for <€100 you can get a battery jump starter. If you get a battery charger take the battery out of the car and leave it on charge for as long as possible, if you get the jump starter leave the car running for 30 min to get the battery recharged.
