There must be 500mm from the edge of the roof to the panels; 200mm from the top of the ridge; or from velux windows.

My roof is a hip roof and there are ridge tiles from the top of the ridge sloping down.

So there are ridge tiles between my side roof and my back roof where I wish to have the panels.

I was told that the distance from the ridge tile edges is 200mm and also told it is 500mm.

    Which is it?

There is also a mention of 150mm re pitched roof and panels.
