Walking pad/treadmill

Hi all

Looking for some advice here. I’m looking to buy a compact folding treadmill simply for walking on days where it’s lashing or too late to go out. Something like the Xaomi WalkingPad would be ideal, but they don’t seem to sell them in Ireland.

ideally I’d like one with a safety bar that folds down, as even when walking I have terrible balance. And I’d like to keep it as cheap as possible - like €200/300.

Anyone got a unicorn like that out there that they would recommend?

I have the €199 version for the last year and a half, not foldable though, but works great.

Too low to use on carpet without wood under the feet as it would sink in and the belt would rub on the carpet

Does it go to the 10km per hour? Really considering it but read reviews that differ. I mainly want it for jogging.

Well the display reads 10 kph, I don't know if it actually is 10kph, it seems to slow a bit at slower speeds at least when you get on it.

I only use it for walking so have not needed to use it above 7kph.
