Possible to make $35,000 per year from photo booth rental?

Last year I had 77 weddings I shot. And I'm thinking about picking up a photo booth and just trying to figure out what can I possibly make off having this. Is it possible to earn $35,000 from renting it out? While at WPPI, a rep at a photo booth company that I spoke to, stated with that many weddings, this is what I could be making from having this.

I'm hoping to get some other insight from this. Let me know please. Thanks!

If the rep is so sure of making that much money, why aren't they doing it directly?

If you did one wedding every week where the customer agreed to pay for this, you would need to be charging €700 + the cost of printing, etc. I strongly suspect that isn't going to work.

Well a rep will have their interests taken care of first. How many people were at the weddings you done? What percentage of those do you think would avail of the photo booth rather than take pictures on their mobiles? Then multiply that by what you intend to charge for a ballpark figure.

Don't expect anything from life, just be grateful to be alive.

I think photo booths are a rather tacky fad that are on the way out.

not to mention transport costs (truck + fuel), people to actually move equipment.

We're getting married next March and had budgeted in 350-550 for a photobooth. Picked one at the higher end becuase it was quirky and retro looking, included prints and sent us all the pics etc. We've actually since decided to scrub the idea entirely because in the last couple of years of being at weddings I've used their boothes twice and not even bothered looking at the pics. A few of our friends have said in hindsight they were a waste of money.

We're doing a phone audio guestbook instead, that seems to be the next passing fad?
