Quickest bus from Heuston Station to Rathfarnam

I do not think there is a dart service to rathfarnam so just wondering what would be the closest bus service from Heuston station to Rathfarnam? Thanks

Luas to Rialto, 17 bus to Rathfarnham (from Rialto church)

There is a five minute walk from the LUAS stop at Fatima along St. Anthony’s Road to bus stop 1380 on the South Circular Road at Rialto Church, which is the terminus for the 17, and yes it’s towards Blackrock.

A more frequent option would be to get the 145 bus to D’Olier Street from outside the station and the 16 from stop 336 further along the same street.

But I would say that Rathfarnham is a big place and different bus routes go to different parts of it.

The village is served by the 15b and 16 from city centre.

Genuinely not being smart, but if you open up Google maps on your phone and stick in where you are leaving from to Heuston, and tell it what time you wanna go at, it will give you the best advice along with turn by turn instructions.
