The prices are going to keep going ... up and up ..

    🤣

On Tuesday I was 4300th from the start for the Friday concert, and when I got to the top it was just an error message. Whether it was an error message, stuck in a long queue or no tickets available, it was an absolute farce.

Eventually on Tuesday I was offered "premium" priced ticket in block 704 for €260 for the Monday concert and I decided I'd be better off waiting. It is 13 months away on the weekend Electric Picnic happens...

    Oh no! 😜

Mine are just a haze of queues legs crossed, wanting to get back to the music!

A few ditches or trips to the shrubbery at some, were far superior, afair!

I've wanted to see to them for a long time. Couldn't go in 2017 as we were away at the time. Have talked about going to see them abroad. I paid 600e for 2 tickets on Tuesday but like that i might never get to see them again. Plus by the time I buy tickets/flights/accommodation/ spending money and would have to more than likely take unpaid leave off work as can only go during school holidays it would cost me more.

    Master of the Universe

If they play for two hours that's 5 euro a minute

Hope you enjoy the show, that's quite the dedication.

Sister panicked Tues as a big fan and bought two vip tickets in Upper Hogan (description mentions guaranteed “lower bowl….subject to venue” ) …..I got in to mcd sale (thanks to here) and got two pitch ones for her instead…..24 hour “cooling off period” applied for, for the vip ones, with 20 min to spare and they have given it so vip ones went back into pot Wed and and she only has the pitch tickets she wanted

No Platinum tickets are like cocaine - it’s Gods way of telling you you’re making too much money 😛

Sorry but I have to know- what was the car?

    Guess 1: Golf

    Guess 2: Something Japanese

Guess 3: Definitely not something British

You're the first person I've seen say they got pitch tickets

I'd say there could be more pitch tickets available once they know the exact measurements and requirements of the stage. Better to undersell at this stage rather than oversell in case the dimensions are bigger than anticipated, so they hold off selling standing tickets to avoid a scenario of not enough space

I know a couple of ppl who got pitch tickets but we all took the risk of only ticking the pitch box…

I drove to that gig in my mother’s Morris Marina, no way it would have started if I had left the lights on. It took us 2 hrs to find it.

I got four pitch via MCD presale for Friday.

Took the risk of just selecting pitch and it came up trumps

Will they play on the Saturday night?

I got 4 pitch tickets in the Artist's pre-sale for the Monday. Just happened to be on the page with the Coldplay links when the Monday popped up as an extra date. So I pounced on it.

I got category C pitch tickets whatever that means. €444 including all charges.

    /jedi mind trick

You don't really want 4 tickets, in fact you feel awful if you don't unload 2 of them to a trusted member of the boards community. New Republic credits waiting!

Taylor Swift recent concert in Seattle caused an actual earthquake as it was so great. Coldplay biggest rumble they can do is if the muscle man drummer make a giant fart after eating too many lentils and cous cous.

Ah damn you- 😀I knew that was an obvious guess but didn’t want to believe British Leyland made a car that could actually start after the battery nearly ran down - now there’s a feature they missed in their advertising- must have been on of the few positives of that car at the time.

Anyone think there will be a ticket drop over the weekend? Anyone have any inside information from Ticketmaster?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,140 ✭✭✭✭tom1ie

What’s the craic man? I’ve seen you mention Taylor swift whenever you can! Are you ok?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,140 ✭✭✭✭tom1ie

Anyone wanna get rid of two tickets for Coldplay they don’t need ……..🧐

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,607 ✭✭✭forumdedum

Just checking Ticketmaster there. Tickets costing over €300 can be bought by at least 6 at a time. A sign there are many of those.

On another note, someone on here mentioned the expensive/Platinum tickets may be converted down to normal price tickets. I agree. A question however. Is it possible that say on night 1 a ticket someone in a certain seat paid several hundred and yet on say 2nd or 3rd night that exact same seat gets reduced to €180 or whatever. Is there a way of getting this information? (I'm aware of the free €6 wristbands etc but you should get my drift?)

That whole buy now pay later thing could have tickets sitting in shopping carts that'll be resold also.

Its still going to be a lotto of luck though.

Nothing adds up about any of it since Tuesday.
