Low ARC volume on DVB-T2 only - odd!

I have a TCL 65" TV (65P715K) and a Samsung Q70T sound bar. Recently I have noticed (I very rarely watch terrestrial TV) that the volume on saorview channels over ARC is really low. This TV has 3 tuners (S2, C and T2) and when I switch to the S2 tuner volume is fine! The TV is google TV and netflix/prime/youtube etc are all fine.

What codec is the audio on saorview sent? I am confused as to how satelite is fine but not DVB-T2 tuner. I have tried changing from auto/passthrough and PCM but no difference.

    Thanks!

Saorview is bog standard MPEG-1 Layer II (MP2) audio. Same as the SD channels on satellite.
