Unfollow/Unbookmark a thread issue

I am able to unbookmark threads, and have done succesfully repeatedly.

There is one thread however that will not leave me alone, i have tried repeatedly over a number of weeks.

Please help.

the thread is renewable energies--> domestic PV quotes 2022.

As i type i recall that 176 pages before the current page i was the original poster if that is part of the problem....?

Have you been unbookmarking them in the discussions section of your profile page?

Is the issue that it's still bookmarked, or is the issue that you're still getting notifications? They're not the same thing: you can get notifications for a discussion that's not bookmarked, and you can bookmark a thread without gettings notifications.

If it's an issue with notifications, review your settings here: https://www.boards.ie/profile/preferences/. Specifically, the settings for "New comments on my posts". Note: there is no way to do this on a discussion-by-discussion basis - you can receive notifications for all discussions you start or none.

I am having the same issue with discussions I have commented in, I untick "bookmark this discussion" but I am still getting notifications

this is across numerous ones, so it must be something I am not doing correctly

any help?

Same response as above. Except you probably want to review the notification setting "New comments on posts you participated in"
