Cullen's 1st dart is consistently low.

Cullen will be very disappointed with that, very very poor and way off his best

    Really poor quality semi

    Hopefully next one is better

Was expecting a much closer game.

    Fancy Clayton to beat Humphreys

Dogged ferret, hung in there very well to pinch it

Hope Clayton goes on to win it. Never realized he never got beyond the 2nd round in all his previous appearances

Those 2 missed darts at single 18 will haunt Humphreys

Some performance from Robyn Byrne in the Ladies Matchplay

3 of the 4 semi finalists failed to average more than 75. Gifted spots at the grand slam and world championship for this dirt

    My bet for the evening.

Clayton win, Clayton highest checkout & Aspinall most 180s - 3/1

Aspinall raced away there legs 11-15.

10-5 and playing the better darts.

Hope you didn’t have much on that after that 170 CO

Aspinall channeling the brilliance of Peter Casey here!

    This is brilliant from Asp

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,870 ✭✭✭Sultan of Bling

    The asp is on fire.

No mercy from the Asp,9 on the trot 14-5

Asp has the head of the dodgy lad from your local

    Only a score, thankfully haha

    Stunning stuff from Aspinall.

    🤣

He does look like a little gurrier.

Seems a sound enough fella from his interviews though.

    Some performance by the Asp

The sport has never been so open, anyone could win the remaining tournaments

A bit of a disappointing tournament for me, not much to get excited about

I can't say I'd agree. There were some very good games. Quality was good throughout. Few very tense matches (Claytons semi springs to mind right away), all the supposed big guns knocked out early and a new winner in the end.

Kinda strange (I'm strange !) but recent years I've found myself enjoying the early rounds of these competitions (Matchplay, Grand Slam, Grand Prix) more than the end-game.

3 or 4 games on one after another in midweek when there's nothing much else on sportswise. So I watch these early rounds and then end up not bothering with the Saturday/Sunday semis and final.
