    The Daydream Club's cover of The Zombies' song "This will be our year" is quite annoying. What possessed AIB to choose it as a soundtrack for their TV ad?

    It's such a boring cover of a lame 60's tune. The singer's voice sounds like she just woke up from a temazepam coma. I change the channel every time it comes on.

    It's getting very very irritating at this stage. My OH can't stand it and changes the channel when it comes on.

    Also slightly anger-inducing when you think of the complete dysfunction of the housing market and the lending institutions' roles including AIB in partly creating the complete mess we're in.

    It's like one of those tunes the RSA use in their car crash adverts. There to lull you into taking out a mortgage with them before wham you're hit with multiple interest rate rises and inevitable eviction.
