GSD 1070 Keypad Communication Error.

Hi.

Just moved into a new house and a GSD 1070 is installed but the keypad shows a communication error. As there was no engineer code available the system was defaulted and the keypad now just searches for a system to join. A new cable to run to rule out the issue and the original cable bells out without issue to no resolved.

Is it worth having the keypad replaced? as it seems well specced with all wireless sensors and dual path. Considering having it replaced with a SPC system.

Try defaulting the panel and the keypad . Remove LK1 links on both and power cycle. The keypad should then re enroll. If there's wireless devices in place if your replacing panel3with SPC you will need to replace all the wireless dev6.

Have replaced these systems as they have plenty of faults so the new system might be the better option.
