If a event sells tickets through Ticketmaster, is that the one place where tickets can be resold?

I'm looking to get tickets for a gig but it's sold out, so my only chance (if any) of going is through resale tickets. I feel like I heard before that tickets can now only be resold through ticketmaster (if originally sold there). Is that true? Or do I have any other options?

If it’s a digital ticket you either need to put it up for resale on ticketmaster or transfer the ticket through the ticketmaster transfer function.

The resale and transfer options are not guaranteed to be open for every show and may only be open for a very limited window.

If transfer option open you can sell a ticket to whoever you want by whatever means. On the street, through toutless, or a friend of a friend and then transfer the ticket.

I have 2 tix for EP, the site says no refunds, and no way to sell on Ticketmaster.

So just sell them on Adverts?

Picnic tixs are not transferable so cannot be sold on adverts I'm afraid

Spent 7 days trying to sell my tickets on ticketmaster. Kept telling me they were listed but concert was sold out and tickets never appeared for resale. Nightmare on the chat option. Cancelled my listing(that nobody could access) and sold on toutless in 5 minutes. Fantastic site for genuine fans needing tickets at face value price.
