Over charged by eir

I had a look at my historical eir BB/phone bills and looks like I have been over charged by at least €1000 over the last 3/4 years. I brought this to Eir's attention and they offered me a €400 compensation saying this is all they would offer because I did not bring the discrepancy to their attention until now. How do I find out what are my rights?

The citizens information site is a good place to start. If they cant help then they will give you the right details of who and where to take the matter further. Alternatively you could ask COMREG

i think you need to dig out the contracts and have a look at T&Cs.

You could always try Conor Pope in the Irish Times. He is swamped with EIR stories, but at least he gets results in most cases.
