Hi, odd question possibly but I'm tight on the distance between my nearest socket and TV location. Any idea is the power cord of the 1.2m or 2m variety?

    Thanks!

    Hi Emmet7980.

Thanks for the post and I can see from our system you placed the order for the Philips last night :)

I can't actually find anywhere that states the length of the power cable with the 8897 unfortunately. It is not a hard wired one so if it turns out to be too short you can purchase a longer one.

We currently have an open chat with Philips to see if they can give us the answer and we'll keep you posted.

Hi Emmet7980, it is a brilliant TV to be fair!

Let us know what you think of it when you get it up and running.

    Kind regards

    David

Better late than never with a review! With a year of use I can safely say this TV has lived up to expectations. Excellent picture, really crisp 4K picture with good blacks even in quite a bright room. First experience for me with ambilight aswell and it can really add to the viewing experience I find.

One downside and it's as minor as you get - the battery cover of the remote, it is an odd design that just won't stay in place, and eventually went missing..

    Hi Emmet7980.

Thanks very much for the little review and good to hear you are enjoying the Philips.
The Ambi Light is a great feature.

I'll have a little check around to see if there is anything I can do for you on the remote issue.
