Engineer code

Have my HKC alarm a few years now, and my Securecomm subscription stopped working, so I contacted the company who installed the alarm to ask about restoring it. Fine they say, what's your engineer code. I have no idea, and surely they, as the company who installed it should know, but apparently they don't.

Anyone have any advice about how I go about getting the engineer code, or is it even possible? I don't want to do anything magical with my alarm, just restore functionality, I'd happily pay the HKC fee plus whatever little bit they'd add.

Oh well, give me an easy life and a peaceful death.
