Trannergy Inverter

These were installed in Hansfield Dublin 15 to operate a 5 panel PV setup.

Just wondering is there an app to allow the inverter to be monitored, especially in terms of output as this would allow for decisions to be made around installation of a battery and/or hot water element.

Depends on the model I think, no "app" as such , but the manual eludes to a web portal.

Can use the SOLARMAN app if it has a wifi dongle on it. Trannergy have thereown one but SOLARMAN is easier

Thanks. Can you recommend a wifi dongle as there doesn't seem to be one connected.

That's not an EDDI for water heating as don't know if it is. Any guidance would be great.

I know it's a pain if the inverter is really inaccessible, but I've done this type of 'survey' before by just taking photos of the inverters total production at different times and subtracting. Basic but less hassle and cheaper than getting Wifi going on an old inverter. Pushing the button a few times will pull up the total.

There is only one mod in charge here and I haven't found him to be anything like some of the ones I think you mean. The forum rules are the forum rules, if not broken I have never seen unwarranted action been taken on posts or posters here on these threads.
