Has any country pulled off the neat trick of having full employment and having enough housing for all?

We have a tricky problem of needing to import tens of thousands of construction workers to build houses, without having any houses to accommodate those construction workers...

We've got to loosen the over the top health and safety regulations and allow actual modular homes that cost 75k (not serviced modular homes that cost 250k+). Put thousands of them in fields around the country and put the needed construction workers in them.

What were the GAMA motorway workers housed in back in the day?

Pretty sure we wouldn't want to go back to that

    I'm partial to your abracadabra,

I'm raptured by the joy of it all.

    My idea is trailer parks.

I've been in lovely ones in the US. They're just like normal suburban estates.

Can build the trailers in some other country that has plenty of workers like Poland or Mexico or India and ship them here.

The government can provide green fields near good transport links, like the end of the Luas line etc.

Just put in services like water, electricity, internet and roads and it's ready to go.

Could have 1000s of homes in a few months.

That’s a great idea - disregard health and safety standards in construction, bring in thousands of immigrant construction workers, to put bottle bank containers in the arsehole of nowhere around the country, and expect there will be no social, environmental or economic impact.

I think it is fantastic that more people are getting the opportunity to get a job and a future for themselves. It is a good thing for this country, the more opportunity people have the better lives they will lead.

Go back ten years and things were very bleak for many of the workforce.

Long may it last and fair play to the government for giving start up companies the support they need, they have been brilliant. Pascal O'Donoghue should be proud of his efforts, fair play to him.

They cant build modular homes where do you think they will source all these Trailers. Ireland is also very humid the inside would be soaking wet and mould ridden without proper heating in them.
