My budget it between 3 and 5 grand im looking for a 7 seater i do delivery's on the side I know not ideal for any car let alone a 7 seater but such is life and having 3 kids so I was thinking a ford galaxy but for my budget I don't see many in good nick maybe an opel or mazda or honda stream but I'm thinking diesel im stuck in a rabbit hole maybe a French car .

At that budget I'd recommend a Toyota Verso

I just sold one after having it for 8 years with relatively little trouble.

Do you really need the 7 seats?

If not, don't rule out a Honda FRV. 6 full size seats, full size boot, reliable car. 3 seats in the front is an acquired taste but I loved mine.

They are getting hard to find now. I see only 12 for sale on DD.

Little bit shorter but higher ceiling on the boot at the back based on the quick google I've looked at.

You wouldn't want basketball players in the back two seats but I've easily fit 11 and 12 years olds in the back two and 4 adults and a car seat across the rest?

    Nissan Cube or Honda Freed

At that budget it's more about a good basic car with a reputation for relative reliability.

There are no guarantees but the Verso is probably a reasonable bet - Citroen/Ford etc

have been known to give more trouble particularly with electrics which can sink a car

Depending on the type deliveries and overall driving, it might be wise to rule out a diesel.
