    Hi,

I am trying to complete my tax return for 2022 online with Revenue. I want to declare dividend income but the only options are for US, Canadian, UK or Irish dividends.

What about dividends from other countries? I received dividends from shares in companies bought on US stock exchange (NYSE & NASDAQ) and Tradegate exchange. Some are US based companies but others from what I can see are tax resident in other countries:

    BYD (tax resident in China)

    SQM (tax resident in Chile)

    Nestle (Switzerland)

    IHS Markit (Bermuda)

How do I declare this income? I opened in enquiry on My Revenue but I am still waiting for a response 6 weeks later!

Nobody able to help me out with this? Surely others here own stocks such as those above?

There is a section for other foreign dividends. It's lumped in with other sources of income.

Thanks for your reply 'relax carry on'.

You are correct. Revenue finally got back to me after about 7 weeks to say the same. For the benefit of anyone else who happens upon this thread looking for an answer to the same question, revenues response was as follows:

"You should include the income on Page 3, Foreign Income, from the drop down menu select: Foreign Non-Deposit Int/Annuit/Royalt/Divs"
