Wireless connection to new modem.

Recently changed broadband suppliers and got a new modem from them for self install. All my gadgets connect wirelessly no problem, except for my Toshiba satellite laptop which is about 10 years old.

The issue is that the new modem doesn't show up on the available wireless connections on the computer. It's showing up other people's connections but not mine.

Is the computer not compatible with the modem or would anyone know of a solution to this problem?? I never had any issues with this computer before and it's worked with 2/3 different modems over the years.

    It's a Virgin Media modem.

Thanks for reading, any help much appreciated 👍.
