Remove the sump plug to drain. Fill from the top.

Out the bottom although I have an oil vacuum pump. Used the pump for a few years then got a VW with a really narrow dip stick and the narrowest of the suction tubes wouldn't fit down so got back in the habit of taking out the sump nut.

Wake me up when it's all over.
